I take the time to perform a thorough,
detailed inspection which usually takes from 2 hours or
so for a small town home/condo to 3 or more hours for
the average and large home. I like to do the job right
the first time and usually perform about 250 inspections
annually.
Many real estate agents and former clients recommend me
because they know I do thorough, detailed inspections
backed up by experience, and a written guaranty and full
insurance.
Check List
Our visual inspection exceeds the
Standards of Practice of the American Society of Home
Inspectors, who set the national standards for a
comprehensive inspection. Exterior siding, roofing,
gutters, windows, doors and screens; property drainage
and hazards; gutters and downspouts; retaining walls,
decks and porches; the foundation supporting structure,
framing, electrical system including outlets, circuit
breakers and panel box and light and fan fixtures;
heating and air conditioning systems; water heater,
plumbing piping, faucets and sinks; built-in appliances;
walls and ceilings for leaks and cracks; windows for
operation; doors for closing and locking; the attic for
leaks, insulation, ventilation and construction; and
more.
On-site Report
I usually provide a computer printed,
on-site Key Findings Report complete with digital photos
at the finish of the inspection. The whole report
includes a full description of the property inspected
and generally comprises 10-15 pages.. It's written in
layman’s terms and is easy to understand. I also go over
the Key findings directly with the client so they have a
full understanding of the issues. The full report is
emailed through our secure web site within 24 hours to
you and your agent.
INSPECTION FEES
Our fees are typically competitive. We
compete on the basis of being experienced and fully
accredited, providing a thorough and detailed,
up-to-date inspection, supported in full with a written
guaranty and full insurance for your protection.
